Welcome to the online training programme for BadgerNet. This training package is designed for you to pick which modules you wish to complete. This can be used as refresher training or if you have a specialist role and do not need to complete a full training package. All training modules are made up learning from videos, quick reference guides and quizzes to teach you the basics of BadgerNet.

Please note this is SHIP wide training and there might be some specific forms locally that are used. At the end of the training, you will be provided with a local guide as to which forms to use in your trust location.
If you feel at the end of this training, you need further support or face to face training please contact your practice development or digital team.
Once your training is complete and you have passed all your self assessment quizzes you will be provided with your BadgerNet login if you are a new user.

Antenatal Booking - Module 2
This will cover the Booking appointment.

During this video you will hear the term ‘Maternity Notes’ and ‘Mat Notes’. This is what is now known as ‘BadgerNotes’ which is the app used by Women & Pregnant people.

Across SHIP as part of the booking process we send an ‘External Review’ to health visitors in order to give them ‘read only’ access to the record. See images below to how this is sent

Induction of Labour - Module 8
This will cover the induction process, including booking all the way through to transfer to labour ward. Please note not all trusts book their induction on Badgernet so please refer to your local SOP for guidance.
