OASI repair study day

Date: Monday 7th March 2022 & Monday 19th September 2022 

Venue: Room 2, Education Centre, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester 

Cost: £150

This one day training course has been designed to cover all aspects of Obstetric Anal  Sphincter Injury (OASI). The course has lectures covering anatomy, physiology,  incidence, risk factors, fundamentals of repair, birth following OASI injury and  medicolegal issues. There is a long practical session covering the repair of OASI with  sufficient models for everyone to practice suturing. 
The course is aimed at Obstetric trainees and any Colorectal trainees with an interest  in OASI. The course has been approved by Wessex Deanery and attendance is  sufficient to satisfy the log book requirements.
